What is this pain?
Why do I cry?
The sweetest tears from my eyes.
A joyful sob.
So strange, a feeling
Happiness that hurts,
So simple a situation,
that burns all the same.
You wrapped around me,
speaking from the soul,
about nothing at all.
Before you went away.
We are still together,
Linked from afar,
Our hearts both yearning,
for our lovely burning.
Let these tears speak,
of what I wish to say.
Let this pain in my heart,
tell the world that this is real.
