A corpse is now the world
Do you see it grow?
A corpse is now us all
Do you feel wrong?
Do not fear the sickle,
or the scythe, or the knife
For as every dead thing can see,
It's really a wonderful thing
Only from the inside of the coffin,
Do you see your contribution,
to the whole of us all,
to the future of the woods.
Lying in your grave,
do you feel the root?
Growing from your heart,
and pushing to the sun?
Do you see your words,
now mysterious scripture,
before they were just your words,
now they are your legacy.
Do not weep for your friends,
they are dead, and that is sad.
But they are more now,
through your love and compassion.
In your coffin you will lie,
or through the air,
your ashes might fly,
in the next world you will see.
A corpse is now the world.
All grown up.
A corpse is now us all.
Don't you just want to die?
