D&D Sonnet

Do you long for a place of wonderment?

Of dragons and gigantic monster boars?

Do you desire reality bent?

With exploration, mighty ships with oars?

Then come and join my merry band and me

Across mountains tall, through a cavern dark

Fighting the good fight, we always win free

Claiming our just reward, leaving our mark.

So, roll for initiative, and then pray.

So, add your strength mod, when fighting the slime

Hope your AC is high enough, and say,

“That’s it! I’m playing a fighter next time”

Perhaps you love playing a character

Just don’t play when your d20 is bitter.
