Are you afraid

Of death

Of life

Of the end of time

Of timelessness

Are you aware

Of meek choices

Of single paths

Of bloodless contentment

Of longing undesirable

Are you willing

To fight and kill

To conquer and claim

To run forever

To die unhappy

I have made my choice and said my prayers

I have sealed my fate

A hopeless odyssey was started in ignorance

Upon the sea, I must now sail into Hades

Listen and beware, oh hopeless sailors

Oh those of wonderment who dwell upon land
