The angel said
to the people down below
as they read the holy words
put down by both beings divine
and creatures of evil intent.
That angel only asked
for a touch of common sense.
"Consider the Source"
The father said
to son with his own heart
held in his hands.
The boy gave a little smile
and learned what it means
to think and to reason.
The father only said
for his son's happiness.
"Consider the Source"
The earthworm said
in the beak of the robin.
The early bird may get the worm,
But this early bird was a worm
and in return for being early
he instead got a bird.
The earthworm only told
for the benefit of others.
Be not blind or unwise
in the face of tragedy or confusion.
Simply look to the facts,
be wise or ask for wisdom,
and Consider the Source.
